Carpinus Betulus Fastigiata - Colimnar Hornbeam 2–2,5 m

Delivery is not possible. Due to the size and weight of the plant, purchase and collection are only possible at the nursery.

Columnar Hornbeam is a 12-15m tall and 2,5-3,5m wide deciduous tree. The oval leaves have dentate margins and a light green colour in the spring, which later turns to a darker shade and into a golden- yellow colour as well come fall. The foliage is denser and the leaves are smaller than on the basic kind. Columnar Hornbeam prefers a sunny, mildly- shadowy location with well- structured soil and moderate water demand. A perfect choice for planting as a solitaire or in parks.
